    No. This is a private-pay practice. We can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement (Superbills are not provided for any medicaid and/or medicare reimbursement)..

    Do you prescribe controlled medications?

    No. This practice does not prescribe controlled substances/medications (e.g. Adderall, Xanax, Ambien).

    What ages do you treat?

    Psychiatric evaluation and medication management are available for patients ages 6–65. Patients over age 65 may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

    Psychotherapy is primarily offered to adults. Psychotherapy for adolescents may be available on a case-by-case basis.

    What happens during the first appointment?

    Your first appointment is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. It includes a review of your symptoms, medical and psychiatric history, current concerns, safety and risk factors, and treatment goals. When appropriate, we will discuss a diagnosis and develop an individualized treatment plan together.

    Can I receive psychotherapy without taking medication?

    Yes. Medication is not required to receive psychotherapy. Whether psychotherapy is appropriate will be determined based on your individual needs and clinical assessment.

    What should I do in a mental health crisis?

    This practice does not provide emergency or crisis services. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
